Roger was a caring and considerate man. He had a lovely gentle nature, a wry sense of humour and a deep sense of honour. With his wide knowledge of technical matters he was always willing to help family members and friends solve their problems. After 58 years of marriage he was still devoted to Wendy. He always took great interest in his children and grandchildren and their achievements. In difficult times he was a tower of strength and so will be sadly mourned in his absence. Roger, thank you for making a happy place in which to share our lives.
